2009 Istanbul - World Fair Play Award 2007-2008. Ceremony in Istanbul-- At the end of January the World Fair Play Award ceremony in Istanbul and the Assembly of the Fair Play International Committee of which P.I. is a member were carried out. In the seat of the Turkish Olympic Committee, presided by Togay Bayatli, have been delivered the trophies and the diplomas relative to 2007 and 2008.
- On 26 February 2009, the International Olympic Committee has renewed the charges for the committees for the year 2009. The President of Panathlon International, Enrico Prandi, has been reappointed as a member of the Commission for Olympic Culture and Education.
- Sports competitions programme and qualification systems for the 1st YOG in 2010 - The Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) approved today the sports competitions programme for the 1st Summer Youth Olympic Games (YOG) to be held in Singapore in 2010, as well as the qualification system for each event.
