The International Board met online to appoint the new President of the CCSE in the person of IB Member Eugenio Guglielmino who succeeds Canadian Elaine Cook who had resigned from the position assigned to her in 2016 for work reasons. The President and the International Board, while thanking Elaine for her great commitment, now welcomes the new President who will be flanked by Brazilian Antonio Carlos Bramante and Swiss Piermarco Zen-Ruffinen.
The new Commission is already at work to organise a Round Table on the topic of “The Effects of Conflicts and Politics in Sport” on 15 September in Rome at the Aula Magna of the Olympic Training Center “Giulio Onesti”.
