REUNIÓN DEL CONSEJO INTERNACIONAL 14-15 DE MARZO DE 2024
La próxima reunión del Consejo Internacional se celebrará los días 14 jueves y 15 viernes de marzo a partir de las 9.30 horas en Villa Queirolo, Rapallo.
Entre los puntos del orden del día figuran: los informes que se presentarán en la Asamblea General, el balance final y la previsión presupuestaria junto con la propuesta de cuota de socio para los dos próximos años; la organización de la Asamblea General y la Mesa Redonda que se celebrarán en Agrigento; las iniciativas emprendidas para los Juegos Olímpicos de París; la creación de una Comisión de Ética; el acuerdo de colaboración con la IDF; la adhesión a los proyectos Erasmus; la idea de crear una mascota para el PI.
El viernes 15 de marzo, a las 11.00 horas, está prevista la reunión habitual con el Consejo de Administración de la Fundación "PI - D. Chiesa" para reflexionar sobre los proyectos en curso y acordar las líneas de actuación para el futuro próximo.
Participarán por primera vez los nuevos consejeros Andrea Tortora y Fabiano Gerevini, que sustituyen a Patrick Van Campenhout y al recientemente fallecido Eugenio Guglielmino.

REUNIÃO DO CONSELHO INTERNACIONAL - 14-15 DE MARÇO DE 2024
A próxima reunião do Conselho Internacional será realizada na quinta-feira e na sexta-feira, 14 e 15 de março, com início às 9h30 na sede de Villa Queirolo, em Rapallo.
Entre os pontos na pauta serão discutidos: - os relatórios a serem apresentados na Assembleia Geral, o balanço final e o orçamento, juntamente com a proposta da cota de filiação para o próximo biênio; a organização da Assembleia Geral e a Mesa Redonda que serão realizadas em Agrigento; as iniciativas empreendidas para os Jogos Olímpicos de Paris; a criação de uma Comissão de Ética; o acordo de parceria com a IDF; a adesão aos projetos Erasmus; a ideia de criar uma mascote para o PI.
Na sexta-feira, 15 de março, às 11hrs, está previsto o encontro com o Conselho de Administração da Fundação PI-D. Chiesa para refletir sobre os projetos existentes e acordar as linhas de ação para o futuro próximo.
Pela primeira vez participarão os Conselheiros recém-eleitos, Andrea Tortora e Fabiano Gerevini, que substituem Patrick Van Campenhout e o falecido Eugenio Guglielimino.

Celebration of 5 years of PI Representation at Maison du Sport in Lausanne
Yesterday, February 22, was held the five-year celebration of Panathlon International's Representation at the Maison du Sport in Lausanne.
President Pierre Zappelli welcomed the participants with a speech in which he explained our aims and how, through our presence in Lausanne, we have managed to strengthen relations with the international sports world.
He also presented the results achieved and future projects. Sergei Aschwanden, judo Olympian and member of the Club Lausanne, then spoke about his sports experience and his close relationship with Panathlon.
There were numerous participants: representatives of the IOC, International Federations, International Associations and Partners, sports personalities, presidents and delegates of PI Districts along with the Treasurer, Secretary General, Vice President of the Lisbon Club and the Secretary of the Representation.
The celebration ended with an aperitif and a commemorative cake to celebrate this important milestone to the satisfaction of all participants.

Interview with Fabio Figueiras on the Erasmus+ project, Sport Against Match-Fixing (SAMF)
Whilst representing Panathlon International, Fabio Figueiras gave an interview this week to the Portuguese Football Federation and its channel TV “Canal 11” from beautiful Switzerland, where the main topic of the interview was the Erasmus+ Project, Sport Against Match-Fixing (SAMF).
In the course of this interview, Fabio Figueiras had, amongst other, the possibility to share insights on Panathlon International’s contribution to SAMF, as well as how SAMF is contributing to mission of Panathlon International, especially when it comes to the education and awareness raising/prevention of wrong practices, such as manipulation of competitions, which are not aligned with the positive sporting and ethical values that Panathlon International stands for, such as an integral, ethical, inclusive, respectful and fair play sports.

Erasmus+ Sport Info Day in Brussel (Belgium)
On the 30 January 2024, the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) organised the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day in Brussel (Belgium).
As part of the agenda of the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day, participating speakers discussed policies and procedures related to the application of Erasmus+ projects, as well as provided advice and suggestions on
preparing and submitting proposals, and on the different financial aspects of funding of Erasmus+ projects.
Panathlon International, represented by Fabio Figueiras, participated in-person in the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day 2024 in Brussels. In parallel to the different sessions that were planned to occur on this day, there was also opportunity to network and meet different organisations.
Consequently, Panathlon International had the opportunity to interact and exchange with multiple participating organizations, clubs and federations, with whom Panathlon International already collaborated in the past, is still collaborating or is looking forward to potential collaborate in the future.
With this participation, Panathlon International reinforced and showcased its commitment for the promotion and spread of culture and sporting ethics by fostering international collaboration through initiatives like Erasmus+. It was also a good opportunity to disseminate past and current activities and projects where Panathlon International is active, especially the ones related to Erasmus+, such as Evidence-based Prevention of Sporting-related Match-fixing (EPOSM) and Sport Against Match-Fixing (SAMF).
Noteworthy to mention, that the registrations to attend in presence to this event were closed weeks ago, as it had reached full capacity, which shows how well participated this event was.

International Competition 2024 Photo Contest - Nature loves to hide « The nature of sport – Sport in nature »
Fondazione Culturale Panathlon International – Domenico Chiesa and Fondazione per lo Sport del Comune di Reggio Emilia, in cooperation with Fondazione Palazzo Magnani, are organising a photo competition inspired by FOTOGRAFIA EUROPEA’s 2024 concept “Nature Loves to Hide”, with sub-heading “The Nature of Sport - Sport in Nature”.
The contest will culminate in an exhibition in the framework of the “Off Circuit” of the 19th Fotografia Europea Festival organised by Fondazione Palazzo Magnani, which will take place in Reggio Emilia (Italy) from 26 April to 9 June 2022
