Le partenariat entre le Lycée Français Jean-Monnet de Bruxelles et le Panathlon Wallonie-Bruxelles a débuté à l’occasion de la Semaine Olympique et Paralympique (SOP 2026) organisé du 16 au 20 mars par l’établissement, et visant à promouvoir la pratique sportive chez les jeunes tout en les sensibilisant aux valeurs citoyennes et sportives.
Une semaine qui a débuté par la soirée de la diplomatie où étaient présents Kolë Gjeloshaj et Kathleen Monseu, Président et Coordinatrice générale de l’association. L’opportunité pour eux d’échanger avec des personnalités et des sportifs de haut niveau sur la place du Fair-Play dans l’éducation et l’apprentissage du sport : Caroline Vinot, Première Conseillère de l’Ambassade de France en Belgique, Jacqueline Galant, Ministre des Sports au Gouvernement de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles de Belgique, Laure Mouden, Proviseure du Lycée Français Jean Monnet, Larbi Benboudaoud, judoka français, Vice-Champion Olympique (2000), Champion du Monde et d’Europe, Cécile Nowak, judokate française, Championne Olympique (1992), Championne du Monde et d'Europe, Prescillia Lézé, judokate Paralympique française (2024), Championne d’Europe et de France, Marisabel Lomba, judokate Olympique belge (1996) et Co-Présidente de l’Association des Olympiens Belges.
Des représentants de fédérations sportives membres du Panathlon Wallonie-Bruxelles étaient également présents pour montrer leur soutien dans cette opération d’envergure : Frédéric Treuttens, Président de Judo Wallonie Bruxelles et Claire Michel, triathlète Olympique (2016-2020-2024) et Directrice technique de la Ligue Francophone de Triathlon.
Cette SOP était l’occasion pour les 2.500 élèves du Lycée Français de découvrir les photos de l’exposition « l’Esprit du Sport » du Panathlon Wallonie-Bruxelles et de signer avec les personnalités sportives le « Mur du Fair-Play ». En outre, 200 élèves de CM1 et CM2, âgés de 9 à 11 ans, ont assisté à un Ciné Fair-Play animé par l’association.
En s’associant au Panathlon Wallonie-Bruxelles, le Lycée Français Jean-Monnet, établi à Bruxelles depuis 1907 et appartenant au réseau des lycées français, premier réseau mondial d’enseignement, témoigne de son engagement en faveur du Fair-Play et des valeurs positives universelles que le sport véhicule.
Aconteceu nesta quinta-feira, dia 19 de março de 2026, a fundação do Panathlon Internacional Club São José do Rio Preto, o décimo terceiro do Distrito Brasil e o 516° do Panathlon Internacional.
A cerimônia aconteceu nas dependências do SESI SJ Rio Preto com a seguinte programação: montagem da mesa principal, execução do hino nacional, posse dos fundadores do clube, na sequência houve a assembleia de eleição e posse da diretoria executiva, do Conselho fiscal e suplentes.
Encerrando o evento aconteceu a palavra do presidente Marcelo Jamil e a palestra do P. Presidente do Panathlon Internacional Distrito Brasil Pedro Roberto Pereira de Souza apresentando slides das atividades do Panathlon no Brasil e no mundo.

19-03- 2026 - At the General Assembly of Panathlon International Flanders on Thursday, March 19, Chairman Willy Pennoit passed the torch to Sander Renson.
Three years ago, Willy Pennoit was the co-architect of a necessary renewal following a challenging COVID-19 period. His mandate was clear: transforming local clubs into a cohesive regional organization and establishing a foundation for partnerships with clubs, federations, and the educational sector. Referencing the 2025 annual report, Pennoit highlighted the numerous initiatives that successfully met these objectives over the past year. He welcomed both new and returning members, each of whom plays a vital role—according to their unique strengths—in developing Panathlon in Flanders and, most importantly, in promoting Integrity in Sports.
A Sustainable Future
As a financially modest non-profit (vzw), Panathlon International Flanders (P.I.V.) continues to prioritize a healthy and sustainable operation. Despite limited resources, P.I.V. remains dedicated to its social mission and aims for a stable and positive financial balance in 2026. Consequently, P.I.V. is actively seeking committed partners to help amplify its values. Together, we can create more opportunities for networking, dialogue, and positive impact within the sporting world.
International Congress and the Jacques Rogge Award
Paul Standaert, District President, took the floor to present the program for the Panathlon International Congress, held in Ghent on June 4 and 5. In the coming weeks, Panathlon International will reach out to members with registration details. On the evening of Friday, June 5, the Belgian clubs will present the first-ever Panathlon Jacques Rogge Award at Ghent City Hall. Communication regarding this award will launch in April.
The New Board
Sander Renson, the newly appointed Chairman of P.I.V., thanked Willy Pennoit for his selfless dedication and commitment and welcomed the new Board of Directors:
• Mrs Lieve Van Erum, Mrs Ilse Vanhoorelbeke, Mr Bert Verbauwhede, Mr Pascal Cornelis, Mr Willy Pennoit, Mr Alex De Man, Mr Sven De Wilde and Mr Paul Standaert.
• Dirk Vandenhout will continue to serve as Treasurer, assisting the board with legal obligations. Having served for over 40 years, Dirk ensures continued excellence in financial management.
Looking Ahead: Innovation and Best Practices
Future activities were briefly outlined. P.I.V. will take a leading role in the "Poster Showcase of Best Practices from Panathlon Clubs Worldwide" at the International Congress. these insights will be captured in a digital handbook, providing a new momentum for Panathlon International’s mission: the promotion of culture and ethics in sports.
Meeting Schedule and "Declaration 2.0"
The board has established a recurring meeting schedule to allow members to plan ahead: the third Thursday of January, April, June, September, and November. The General Assembly is scheduled for March.
In 2026, work will begin on the Panathlon Declaration 2.0, tailored to the sporting landscape in Flanders. Initiated by a working group led by Ilse and Sander, the drafting process will involve partners from Sports and Education throughout the coming weeks and autumn. Sportieq (formerly ICES) will also be involved in shaping this new Declaration.
Le Panathlon Wallonie-Bruxelles collabore au colloque organisé les 19 et 20 mars par Stop Racism in Sport (et ses autres partenaires : les Territoires de la Mémoire et le MRAX) : « Regard inclusif sur les bonnes pratiques pour lutter contre les discriminations raciales dans le sport ».
Ce colloque se tiendra à la Cité Miroir, à Liège.
La journée du vendredi 20 mars est destinée aux acteurs et actrices du monde sportif et associatif concernés par la problématique.
L’objectif de cette journée est de valoriser les bonnes pratiques existantes, favoriser le partage d’expériences et renforcer les coopérations entre acteurs et actrices de terrain.
Cette journée proposera des présentations d’initiatives existantes en Belgique et en Europe, des échanges et des ateliers concrets visant à outiller les acteurs et actrices de terrain.

Le Panathlon Club Chablais organise la 9ème édition de cette course de montagne dans les alpes valaisannes, entre Monthey et les Cerniers.
Dimanche 3 mai 2026 à partir de 8h.
Parrainé par les champions de course à pied Maude Mathys, César Costa et Florian Vieux, cet événement caritatif en soutien aux jeunes sportives et sportifs du Chablais rencontre plein de succès d'année en année. La Course des 2 Chapelles est une étape de la Coupe valaisanne de la Montagne (CVSM) et de la Fédération Valaisanne d'Athlétisme (FVA). Les parcours sont accessibles à tout le monde, tant aux spécialistes qu'aux familles. Ils se composent de routes goudronnées et de sentiers de randonnée.

WINTERTHUR - Bei der Publikumswahl an den "Winterthurer Sport-Ehrungen" in der AXA-Arena wurde die Trampolinturnerin Zoe Tellenbach als "Winterthurer Sportlerin des Jahres" gewählt und mit dem von der Sportstiftung Winterthur offerierten Siegercheck ausgezeichnet. Nominiert für die Wahl waren auch der U 23 Mountainbike-Weltmeister Finn Treudler sowie Kugel- und Steinstösser Urs Hutmacher.
Vorgängig wurden rund 300 Einzel- und Team-SportlerInnen, die sich im letzten Jahr an nationalen oder internationalen Meisterschaften in den Medaillenrängen klassierten, geehrt und von Stadtpräsident Mike Künzle ausgezeichnet. Auch Sport-Stadträtin Martina Blum dankte in ihrer Begrüssungsrede den lokalen Sportvereinen und den vielen ehrenamtlich tätigen Trainern, Betreuern und Sportfunktionären für ihr riesiges Engagement.
In ihrer Grussadresse gratulierte auch Panathlon-Präsidentin Santi Suter den erfolgreichen Winterthurer Athletinnen und Athleten und lobte sie als Vorbilder und hervorragende Aushängeschilder der Stadt.
Enzo Chierici "Winterthurer Sportförderer des Jahres"
Der Panathlon-Club Winterthur zeichnete ausserdem den langjährige Karate-Trainer und –Funktionär Enzo Chierici als "Winterthurer Sportförderer des Jahres" aus. Den Sieger-Check für diese Auszeichnung offerierte das Migros-Kulturprozent.
Winterthurer SportlerInnen danken Mike Künzle
Mit viel herzlichem und lang anhaltendem Applaus verabschiedeten die Winterthurer SportlerInnen den abtretenden Stadtpräsidenten Mike Künzle. Ex-BMX-Weltmeister und Panathlon-Mitglied Roger Rinderknecht würdigte Künzles Verdienste für den Winterthurer Sport, seine häufige Präsenz an den verschiedensten Vereinsanlässen und seine unzähligen, anerkennenden und legendären kräftigen „Händedrücke“.
Mit dem Prix Chapeau wird die vorbildliche Vereinsführung und schwergewichtig die vorzügliche Nachwuchsarbeit beim Eishockey Club Sursee ausgezeichnet. Panathlon Luzern zieht den Hut und übergibt den Surseern 3000 Franken Preisgeld. pd. Panathlon International ist eine weltweit in 23 Nationen tätige Service-Organisation mit mehr als 260 Clubs und mit über 11'000 Mitgliedern aus 60 Sportsparten. In der Schweiz setzen sich 31 Clubs für einen fairen Sport, Fairplay oder gegen Doping ein und unterstützen Engagements im Jugendsport.
Der Panathlon- Club Luzern vergibt seit 2003 den Prix Chapeau. Die Gewinnerinnen und Gewinner zeichnen sich im Sport durch aussergewöhnliche Leistungen, durch die Bewältigung einer besonderen Herausforderung oder durch Ausdauer und Beharrlichkeit aus. Sursee hat die Auswahlkommission vor allem dank seinem Nachwuchsförderungskonzept überzeugt. Die stärksten Teams spielen in der NLB (Frauen) und 2. Liga, die zwei vollamtlichen Trainer engagieren sich aber im Nachwuchs und arbeiten da täglich mit den Mädchen und Knaben auf dem Eis. So haben einige national bekannte Spieler wie beispielsweise Dario Rohrbach (SCL Tigers), Simon Müller (Davos) oder Evan Frauchiger (EVZ) in Sursee die Eishockey-Grundschule durchlaufen.
Laudator Peter Regli benannte anlässlich der Preisverleihung im Hotel Schweizerhof in Luzern weitere Plus-Punkte wie überzeugende, vernetzte, sportliche Konzepte, eine klare sportliche Vision und Strategie 2030, übergreifende Förderungsideen für Knaben und Mädchen ab 4 Jahren, innovative Finanzierungsideen oder das internationale Turnier um den «Lehner Cup». Zudem existiert ein Troubleshooter-Team, beispielsweise bei Problemen im Verein, bei Ethik – oder Suchtproblemen. Bereits vor drei Jahren hat die IG Sport Luzern den EHC Sursee mit dem Präventionspreis für seine vorbildliche Arbeit ausgezeichnet.
Grosse Freude bei den Surseer Eishockeyanern bei der Bekanntgabe. EHC-Präsident Thomas Nietlispach und Nachwuchschef Philipp Wyss nahmen zusammen mit einer Delegation den Preis-Check entgegen. Panathlon-Präsident Heinz Schaller (Sursee) freute sich: «Ein würdiger Preisträger! Die Surseer haben sich gegen zahlreiche andere Kandidaten durchgesetzt.» Präsident Nietlispach bedankte sich für die Auszeichnung und den Geldbetrag: «Dies Auszeichnung zeigt uns, dass wir auf dem richtigen Weg sind und bestärkt uns in der Förderung des Nachwuchses.»
Ammann neue Präsidentin des PC Luzern
Anlässlich der gleichzeitig stattfindenden Generalversammlung wurde die Luzernerin Yolanda Ammann als Nachfolgerin von Heinz Schaller mit Applaus als Präsidentin des Panathlon Clubs Luzern gewählt. Laurent Prince (Obernau) wird die nächsten zwei Jahre als Programmchef für ein spannendes Clubprogramm mit monatlichen Referaten verantwortlich zeigen. Somit sind die Grundlagen ideal, dass sich der Sportförder-Club auch in den nächsten Jahren im Innerschweizer Sport aktiv engagieren kann.

A ex atleta profissional de voleibol da década de 80 e 90, Josiane Grunewald Marangon, assumiu a presidência do Panathlon Internacional Club Sorocaba para o biênio 2026 e 2027. Ela entrou no Panathlon como sócia em março de 2015, representando o voleibol.
Josiane, nasceu em Santa Rosa RS, casada, tem um filho, ex atleta profissional, treinadora de voleibol CBV nível 4 e árbitra CBV aspirante a nacional.
Começou sua carreira no Pirelli Santo André (1988 a 90), São Caetano (90/91), Ribeirão Preto (91 a 93), Leite Moça Nestlé Sorocaba (93 a 96), Sollo Tietê (96), BCN Osasco (97 a 99), Ituano (99) e Minas MRV (99/00), Flamengo RJ (00/01), integrou a seleção brasileira em 1989 a 95 disputando dois campeonatos mundiais de base, ambos foi vice campeã. Conquistou diversos títulos importantes, entre eles: campeã mundial de clubes 94, tri campeã sul americana de clubes, tri campeã da Superliga.
Casada a 24 anos com Marcel Marangon e tem um filho de 23 anos Henrique Marangon. Reside em Sorocaba-SP desde 93.
