The Panathlon International Club Graz took part in the yearly great sport event of the City of Graz on September 26, 2021, in which the whole city centre of Graz is populated by busy sportsmen and sportswomen in about sixty stalls and display pits presenting all kinds of sports from the traditional sports like aeronautics, ball sports, boxing, weight lifting, track and field, golf and so on, to the latest like quidditch, stand-up-paddling or ropeskipping.
In addition sports associations presented themselves, and also Panathlon International had a stall among those. We could present ourselves very well on the main stage and in numerous conversations with sports people, but also passers-by, who were interested in hearing about the principles and main topics of Panathlon International as e.g. our Charta of the Rights of Children in sport and the respective duties of their parents, but also the fostering of youth and school sports, clean sports, anti-doping and fair play and all the others. New contacts could be made and our publicity was further enlarged.
